This Sunday, we continue our study of the book of the Revelation in chapter thirteen.  The word “antichrist” appears only four times in the Bible, yet the concept of a person who opposes God in Christ, or tries to usurp His authority, is present throughout Scripture.  Paul referred to him as  the “man of sin”, “son of perdition”, and the “lawless one” in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2.  Jesus himself warned against the coming of the false Christ and the false prophets and quoted Daniel by identifying the “abomination of desolation” as one who would one day stand in the “holy place” of the temple as God (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15). The early church fully expected the appearance of the antichrist and we should be prepared. This Sunday we will look at history’s mostterrifying world leader.

For our Fellowship Meal, we’ll have taco salad, quesadillas, and pizza.  We ask YOU to bring your favorite dish to share.  Thank you for pitching in and helping with the set up of the tables and chairs, the serving of the food or the clean up.  Many hands make light work!

Join us for Bible study at 8:45.

See you Sunday!
Jesus is Awesome!

Love,
Pastor Danny Lovett
